I was initially shown into a room very different from the photos online. There was a strong smell of either mould or mould plus cigarette smoke. The blinds were covered in mould and the sheets were stained to the point where I was unsure if they were clean. I felt very uncomfortable and to be honest this was an all time low in my travelling around various countries. I asked if I could move to a room where someone hadn't been smoking. The manager snapped that no-one had been smoking in the room, but they did move me to a much nicer room resembling the pictures online. The new room was clean and well furnished and I would have been very satisfied with it from the start - very good value for money. In a nutshell, it's a bit of a gamble what you might get - ranging from a scenario where you consider sleeping on the floor, to a great bargain for a budget traveller. I checked out after one night instead of the three nights I had booked. To the manager's credit, they only charged me for the one night. The man that showed me the room was very friendly and did his best to make me feel welcome.

This hotel is equal to 3 stars. Rooms and stuff are simply nice. The restaurant was located within 900 feet.

Our room was worth every penny we paid for it. the owner was really nice too. Plus, it was super convenient being able to walk to the nearby subway station 🚶.

The lighting in the hotel room was inadequate, making it difficult to read or do any work. the Wi-Fi signal was not strong, and we experienced a few connectivity issues.

The staff at reception were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help us. The bathroom was amazing - it was spacious, modern, and always had hot water. The windows in the room were also modern and kept the noise out, which made for a peaceful stay. Despite the room not being huge, there was plenty of space for all our belongings. The location of the hotel was convenient, just a short walk away from the railway station. We were able to easily access CP and Old Delhi from there. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the complimentary towels and soaps were a nice touch. The AC and fan worked great, keeping us cool during the hot days. The TV provided good entertainment, although the signal wasn't the best. it was a pleasant stay with great value for money.
